Jakub Kornfeil topped the first session of practice for the Moto3 class, just pipping Hector Faubel in the final moments of FP1. Faubel was forced to settle for 2nd, after having only just sneaked ahead of RW Racing's Luis Salom. Miguel Oliveira took the 4th spot, while Faubel's Aspar teammate Alberto Moncayo nipped ahead of Maverick Vinales.
