No stranger to the afterparty - she has traditionally hosted themed blowouts after Simon fashion shows in the Galleria where her popular restaurant is located - Huang is using Fashion Houston as a springboard for one-night-only pop-up parties she plans to have about six times a year under her Madness & Mayhem banner. [...] Huang is working with J & D Entertainment special event producers to create a party with stilt walkers, aerial artists, champagne girls and muscled men acting as bronze statues. The party - which begins at 9 p.m. and follows a show schedule that includes runway presentations by Chloe Dao, Kevan Hall, Rubin Singer and Herve Leger by Max Azria - will feature food from Barbouti's UP restaurant and champagne by Armand de Brignac, which is one of Oprah's favorite things and the bubbles that Jay-Z personally selected for the new Barclays Center in New York.
