A dirty word, a KISS and an outspoken congressman

The Chronicle editorial board is in the process of interviewing the dozens and dozens of candidates for local, state and national offices prior to making the newspaper’s primary endorsements. Since politics is my beat, I get to sit in with the opinionators in case news is made, although I don’t have a vote when the board makes its decisions.
